ABOUT
At Von Solidago German Shepherds we are passionate about preserving and producing high quality, purpose driven working line german shepherds. Our breeding program is built on a foundation of clarity, nerve, structure and drive -- with every dog selected for their working ability, health, and stable temperament. We are a small, hands on kennel that prioritizes quality over quantity. Every litter is thoughtfully planned with a specific purpose, whether that be for sport, protection, tracking, detection, or police. Our dogs are more than just pedigrees --they are working partners, family members and ambassadors of the breed. Von Soldiago was born from a desire to do things differently. Too many German Shepherds today are bred without purpose, resulting in behavior issues, poor health, and a loss of the breed’s true working ability. My mission is to bring back the drive, structure, and clarity this breed was meant to have—not just by breeding dogs, but by creating capable working partners. While an occasional pup may be better suited for pet life, my focus is firmly on producing true working dogs. We have enough pet-bred shepherds out there. It's time to bring workability back to the forefront. Our breeding stock is fully health tested, including DM and full genetic panels, as well as SV or OFA - certified hips, elbows, and spine. We actively train and title our dogs in sports such as IGP and PSA, and our puppies are raised in a structured, enriching environment that promotes confidence, nerve strength, and social stability from day one. Our puppies are raised on ENS and ESI, come microchipped & with age-appropriate vaccinations. We also offer stud services to approved females who meet our health and working criteria.

Meet the breeder
My name is Jordyn, and I'm the person behind Von Solidago German Shepherds—a small, purpose-driven breeding program based in eastern Nebraska, nestled between Omaha and Lincoln. My passion for German Shepherds began early in life and grew through hands-on experience in dog training, starting with pet and shelter dogs when I was just 15. That journey eventually led me to work under a professional trainer. Then eventually went off on my own.
In addition to Von Solidago, I own and operate my own training business where I help pet owners overcome behavioral challenges with their dogs. I'm also an active member of a USCA IGP club and an active member of PSA, where I continue to trial and train.
In 2023, I trained a dog up to a BH, returning her before competing, got my male his IGP1 & IGP3 titles within two months of each other taking home IGP1 high in trial, high tracking and high protection and first place IGP2. We took a break in 2024 and are now back at it and achieved Bauer’s IGP3 and Brasi’s BH/VT on 9/26/25
